Short Bio:
Dr. Abdelrahman Zkria is an Associate Professor of Device Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Kyushu University.
He worked as a Specially Appointed Associate & Assistant Professor at the Center for Japan-Egypt Cooperation in Science and Technology (EJUST Center) at Kyushu University from 2020 to 2023. Dr. Abdelrahman obtained his Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics in 2017 from Kyushu University, Japan. M.Sc. degree in nanophysics and solid-state physics from the University of Graz, Austria, and Aswan University, Egypt...Read more
His research interests are in the synthesis of nanomaterials and thin-film deposition, specifically diamond materials. He has about 40 journal articles and has been invited to many international conferences...Read more
In addition, Dr. Abdelrahman has a contribution to the scientific community in the Arab region. He is a Co-founder of “Education Clinic”, which is a collaborative career-development Foundation aiming to prepare young Arab researchers to achieve excellence in their careers and in a dynamic and challenging global academic community. He is also a board member of the committee for “Promotion of the Study in Japan” and a board member of the Arab Science Week-2022.
